Buen Camino<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To lie, to flop, to fling<\/p>\n

Down on a bag.<\/p>\n

Green, green,<\/p>\n

Rich warmth \u2013 what warmth! \u2013<\/p>\n

In the word, green.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I wandered, not lonely as a cloud,<\/p>\n

But full!<\/p>\n

Full of sun and pulpo,<\/p>\n

Empanadas and air.<\/p>\n

Boiling over, a bubbling brook.<\/p>\n

O Cebreiro, Sarria, Palas de Rei.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I escaped the world,<\/p>\n

With just two friends,<\/p>\n

And flew \u2013<\/p>\n

To music, words, the rise and fall of hills;<\/p>\n

Fat friars lying flat, grassy chests and muddy knees.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Just green and brown and blue.<\/p>\n

Golden cowbells which really ring,<\/p>\n

Sheepdogs, used for herding sheep,<\/p>\n

Milestones for a map.<\/p>\n

Yellow shells into yellow arrows \u2013<\/p>\n

\u201cBuen camino\u201d, passed along the way.<\/p>\n
