\nfor the roar of the waves
\noverpowers us all.
\nA carpet of water constantly unfurling
\nfrom little mountains crashing
\nto the big waves a-curling.
\nThe water\u2019s hissing in a menacing rage
\nsubmerging the rocks in epic climbing waves.
\nTumbling over each other in their haste
\nto get to shore, making icy foams
\nsharp as a tiger\u2019s claw.
\nThen we\u2019re coated in sea salt,
\na sheet of soaking spray
\nfor a massive wave came tumbling,
\nswirling up a fray.
\nThe spray shoots upwards –
\nup it soars so high,
\nspilling water secrets to the eager, murky sky.
\nThreatening, a wave builds up,
\nshowing a heart of emerald green
\nas if in a finale,
