Frankenstein\u2019s Monster<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
He always loved looking at himself.<\/p>\n
It was a hobby,<\/p>\n
a passion.<\/p>\n
He\u2019d take in his whole image \u2013<\/p>\n
his hair, his skin \u2013<\/p>\n
but now he knew his own eyes<\/p>\n
would draw him in<\/p>\n
like the call of the void.<\/p>\n
He wore eyepatches<\/p>\n
and sunglasses;<\/p>\n
goggles,<\/p>\n
painted eyes on<\/p>\n
the back<\/p>\n
of his gloves;<\/p>\n
tried to bring himself to<\/p>\n
pour vinegar in his pupils,<\/p>\n
but remembered some past life<\/p>\n
with deep brown<\/p>\n
coffee to go.<\/p>\n
