The event was introduced by Alice Mullen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isabel Galleymore\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0first collection\u00a0<em>Significant Other<\/em>\u00a0(Carcanet, 2019) won\u00a0the John Pollard Foundation International\u00a0Poetry Prize in 2020 and was shortlisted\u00a0for the Forward Best First Collection Prize\u00a0and Seamus Heaney First Collection Prize.\u00a0She was the Walter Jackson Bate Fellow at\u00a0Harvard\u2019s Radcliffe Institute for Advanced\u00a0Study in 2022\u201323, and lectures at the\u00a0University of Birmingham.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Victoria Kennefick\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0debut collection\u00a0<em>Eat\u00a0or We Both Starve<\/em>\u00a0(Carcanet, 2021) won the\u00a0Seamus Heaney First Collection Poetry Prize\u00a0and the Dalkey Book Festival Emerging Writer\u00a0of the Year Award and was shortlisted for the\u00a0T.S. Eliot Prize, the Costa Poetry Book Award,\u00a0and the Derek Walcott Prize for Poetry.
