\nas the mast she lashed one roaring night,
\nradio down, listing but alive.<\/p>\n
\nthe warning tales slip from her memory;
\nshe fails to log it with the team<\/p>\n
\nand hourly report that hacks are poised for sound-bites
\non the quay, lenses agog.<\/p>\n
\nthe voices croon: Come,
\nit will never be this good again.<\/p>\n
\nthat could be leatherbacks. And one neat splash,
