I’m notorious for going into something like this, editing, reworking, etc, getting discouraged and quitting. Frankly, this is really the only thing now that is holding you back from success. It’s a normal hurdle in the stage of writing you are currently in and I’m sure you will conquer it. As for your timetable to be published, I agree it’s always good to have a goal.
