Egidija Inside Writing

Egidija Čiricaitė publishes books, exhibitions, and book related projects. Although firmly based within contemporary artists’ books practice, her varied interests can be loosely divided between book history, multimodality of book form and contemporary metaphor theories (in linguistics). Her work is held in a number of public and private collections, including Centre international de poesie (Marseille, France), Museum of Fine Art (Boston, USA), Tate Special Collections (London, UK) and The Art Institute of Chicago (USA).
Egidija is currently a PhD candidate at the Slade School of Fine Art (UCL) working on interdisciplinary research with UCL Linguistics.

The Poetry Shed at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, is an on-line resource and forum for creative writing across the School. Featured here at ‘Inside Writing’ are poems, readings and film-poems, which celebrate the range of work by current Slade students who engage with poetry.
