I am awake.
I open my watery eyes
Trapped.
I am not
What I wanted to be.
I am
Lost.
I am no longer
A heart with hope.
I am
Scared.
I am not
In control
My whole body is
Trembling.
I see my enemies
Leaping even further than I imagined
My progress has been
Thrown to the dumps
And all my failures have been
Sprouting spontaneously like poppies after a harsh winter
My enthusiasm is
Dwindling.
Obstacles and hurdles are
Everywhere,
Anywhere.
But everything can change.
Everything can turn around.
